Plastering
When done properly, plastering is skilled work – not only doing the job itself, but knowing the right materials to use for the age of your house, the way it’s built, and what’s been done to the surface previously. That’s part of our expertise, and we aim to do a job that won’t just look great when we leave your house, but will last for years and years.
Total Home Refurbishments
We can also take on your home refurbishments, whether you want to update your kitchen, build a TV cabinet or add a velux window, we can cater to your needs.
Float and Set
Float and set is a traditional form of wet plastering, used to give a very high quality finish on brick and block walls. Many plasterers no longer provide this service, preferring quicker, simpler methods, but we take a pride in being able to offer this specialist skill.
Coving & Plaster of Paris Cornicing
We can install new coving and cornicing, or repair existing features, providing a smart finish to any room.
Resets (Skimming)
If you’ve had damage to a wall or ceiling, or perhaps had electrical work chased through the plaster, we can apply a thin coat of plaster over the entire surface, to take it back to a perfectly smooth surface.
Rendering
Good rendering not only improves the external appearance of your house, but also helps with damp protection and insulation. We can advise on the best materials and methods for your home, and can often suggest a simpler or more effective solution than you might have thought of. We offer acrylic, coloured and monocouche rendering, insulated render systems, traditional sand and cement, and have a render pump.
Plasterboarding
Plasterboarding is a quick and cheaper alternative to plastering for stud walls and ceilings. We’re always happy to advise on the most cost-effective solution for any job.
Silicone Renders
We’re a registered installer of K Rend silicone renders and finishes. Available in a range of colours and textures, they’re often used by architects to add to the external appearance of a home, but they’re also a practical solution, offering effective insulation and damp protection without reducing the space inside.
Damp Work
We can offer effective solutions for damp problems, often with less disruption and at a lower cost than damp specialists.
Floor Screeds
Laying new flooring directly on to original concrete can result in an uneven floor, which will never look as good as you’d hoped. Screed floors provide a smooth and level surface, and we can advise on the best materials to use for any type of floor.
Past Projects
Outdoor Office
An outside office space that is waterproof, has electric socket points and also central heating – what more could you want?! Featuring bi-fold doors and outside lights this has been a fun project to work on during the lock-down period when office space is in high demand!
Garden Revamp
Our customer wanted a clean and smooth wall to separate their patio and grass, with acrylic rendering we were were able to create this wall with a set of steps and planters, featuring spot lights.
